Some schools and businesses have been closed as record rainfall amounts have hit the state of Georgia.  Up to 22 inches of rain fell in some parts of Atlanta in September.  The death toll has already reached seven with the latest victim being a young boy.  The governor of Georgia has declared a state of emergency in 17 flood-stricken counties and with the ground already saturated almost the entire state of Georgia is under a flash flood watch.
